For img2, too much space on top but cut off the bottom. Not quite balanced.

Mind sharing how you capture the shot for Image 1 (the bouquet of flowers)? What were the settings you used?

The bokeh of 85 f1.2L is really slurpy..

I used shallow DOF at f/1.8 and shot at 1/400s and metered both purple flower and white flower. The bunch of flowers was placed on a glass table to enhance lighting with no shadow. Natural daylight from the right.

#1 prefer more focus on the flowers, though I see u tried to apply 2/3 rule, the glass table is distracting.

#2 the wooden floor n power socket spoilt the pic

#3 nice try, include more of groom (he could be bokeh slightly) but exclude those distracting bystanders, distracting. Can try upward shot to get better view.

I remembered on my fren wedding I was standing on chair to get good overview shots even though I was not the official photographer. The skin must be thick.

pic 1 is nice...

Is it my monitor or is the skintone of the bride in pic 3 a bit greenish?

Anyone know how to solve this problem in PS?

Thanks for the comments. Sometimes, you have to work in not so perfect circumstances. Well, afterall, photography is an art...we can agree to disagree.

If you stand on top of the table, your subject matter will look shorter. I cannot shift my frame to the right or get her to stand further right as there is another socket. Unless I inconvenience the bride and ask her to nstand on a stool, elevated from the wooden flooring.

Facial expressions disappear in a flash...no time to consider especially when you cannot control where people are moving in a crowded place. Less than perfect circumstances, my friend!

I agreed. non coordinated shots, not easy to take.

Try cropping. It may helps.

wat do you think of these two pics?
I prefer this to the one below, give the sense of pure n sense of waiting (for groom)

just nice both 2/3 rule 2.
