Manchester United have confirmed a suspect package was found at Old Trafford. The Police are on their way to inspect.

IMO the suspected bomb package was a little overrated. After UK spent so much money on Security measures against terrorist attack, its quite amazing that they cannot tell its a fake or a real one within the first half hour by bomb specialists experts with the high tech scanners etc. Not forgetting, how the hell did the dummy device was left behind and nobody spotted and reported it much earlier. Was there a ploy to see the results of Man City against Swansea first so that we can plan the strategy. Now that we are confirmed out of UCL next year, so consolation by LVG to win FA cup. Die die must beat Crystal palace, if not he will be "cruxified" forever by MU fans all over. Although Europa is secondary to elite UCL, we can participate in it will always be good for us. But I must admit its sad we will not be playing UCL next season. Comparing Man City manager who is only 3 years old at MC, why is it that they are able to be in UCL for the 3 years and look at LVG, since taking over Moyes, spent a ton of pounds and yet still experimenting the best first 11 combination after more than 2 years and missed out on UCL.... You tell us if he should stay or go..........Answer is quite obvious, right?

Do agree u have a point there...
According to investigation report the device was proved to have been left in error following the training of dog handlers by a sub-contractor...

Lesson learnt here is never sign a manager in retirement mood!

In other news, their new away kit looks like a blend of their Champions League training top and the current third kit.

Is there in history of EPL football or any other soccer records that a team score more than 5 own goals and we score another 14 goals to reach 19? Even kelong also cannot be too obvious right. Ya, anything is possible. If ever the score line reaches 15-0, the referee would have noticed something is amissed and stop the game. With his powers and logic, send both teams of players to an inquiry, questioning their integrity and the game's sportsmanship. IMO this game is of no significance. Must well send in the second and third team players and rest the very best for the Fa Cup final this weekend. Nobody is going to criticize the last EPL game's line up. Worse still what if our important players got injured in this game, then FA Cup will be jeopardized.

VAN GAAL'S VERDICT ON LAST LEAGUE WIN

Louis van Gaal spoke to Sky Sports after Tuesday's final Barclays Premier League game of the season, a 3-1 win over Bournemouth, and he had this to say about the match...

Ideal send-off for FA Cup final
"You never know but it's a very good victory. We have created many, many chances in the second half. Not in the first half when we played too slow. But it's also difficult against a defensive opponent. In the second half we played very well and it's only my irritation about the last goal because then David [De Gea would have been] the winner of the Golden Glove. I think that he deserved it. It's a pity because it [the goal we conceded] was not necessary I think."

    Great goals
"In the first half we played slow. I said that at half-time. In the second half we found pockets. The wingers were more outside so the pitch was bigger. It's difficult to guard that space then for the opponent, and that we did very well. We have scored brilliant goals I think. And then we forget the penalty against [Juan] Mata because that was also a brilliant attack. I think the second half was very good."

Further evidence why Rashford's in the England squad
"He scored a goal. A striker who scores goals is always good."

    We haven't scored enough goals
"More or less that is the issue. But I think the issue is [also] the amount of injuries we had in the months of November and December. And also that it was particularly in two positions, the two full-back positions. That was very tough I think at that time."

    Creative, fast attackers needed
"I have also said before this season that we need creative, fast attackers. I have said that. We have to take care of that. Nevertheless when everyone was fit we were first in the league. These are the facts."

    Understanding fans' disappointment
"Of course, that I have also said, because their expectation is very high. We are a team in transition. That I have said when I started here at Manchester United. But maybe I have to bring over the message much clearer than I have done."

LVG should be ashamed of his under-achievements in the last 2 years. Look at it less than 50 goals in a season. OMG, what has become of our beloved team. The irony is that he himself knows it but cannot do any more already. He is waiting for the pay out and go. It will only get worse if he continues next year, IMO i don't see any way out of this situation BUT a change of manager. Tell me which club in EPL is not in transition. Every year, new players come, others sold off. What rubbish is he talking about. Its absurd that he kept saying that how well we played, but look at the statistics which showed otherwise on so many occasions. Looking at the whole season performances, do you think he is the right manager to bring us forward, more so, he has only 1 year left of the contract. The answer is obviously NO NO NO. Of course we have high expectations, we are MU with a great history. He has to meet them, otherwise, sorry just don't come and use this as an excuse and he should leave amicably and promptly.

I believe a large part of why LVG is still here is due to Ed Woodward not wanting to admit that appointing LVG was a mistake.

    If i remember correctly,
LVG himself have said before during his first season that if not for the offer from Man Utd he would have gone into retirement ... then along came this offer in which his wife didn't quite approve of but he manage to persuade her out telling that NO MATTER what the RESULTS IS he will come back to be with her i.e. retirement ...

So i think this sought of sums up?

And maybe he try to replicate his success with the dutch national team (which he took more then 3yrs to build) without understanding Man Utd culture ... start selling off lots of players in which he thought he is handling the national team and say he no need so many players to rotate in our jam pack fixtures ... and pushes the players to the max in training n end up increasing the injure list (these 2 adds on to the frustration of the players) ... think thats where we all started our roll down the hill!

So in short lesson learnt never ever hire a manager who is in retirement mood ... lost of hunger ...

If the game does not go into an ugly physical one, and no potential red card from our side, with our team currently, we should not have problems beating Crystal Palace. Look at the first team line up Melvin pointed out rightly LVG shall be playing from the last 5 games we played. If we still cannot score any goals from this team, then we don't deserve to lift the FA Cup 2016. Besides Dempay not mentioned in the list, given a choice, IMO none of them will choose to leave Man U. As such, these players, including new buys, will be the team that will revive our UCL dream for 2018 and have a go at EPL title 2017.
