Default Lesser Grass Blue: Sunlit and backlit

Just went to my house downstairs to shoot some pics since it was sunny....well lots of mosquitoes...had 3 bites in all...guess I did not spray my repellent thorough enough!..hope they were dengue free....

Anyway, spotted this cooperative lesser grass blue perched inthe sunset rays. Took a front lit shot, and a backlit shot both w/o flash. The back lit shot is interesting.....as it revealed the bluish tint in the wings. Quite interesting.

FZ10+6T+Sigma CU, F8, ISO50, various speeds

Appreciate any comments!

#1: Front Lit
1/320s

#2: Backlit
1/500s

I have tried to shoot similar shots but couldn't find a cooperative subject

Very nice but I feel the crop is too tight.

Better but I still prefer more space in front Compo is very subjective though. Btw, why is the leaf properly expose but not the Butt?

The sun was coming from the side top, so shining on the leaf, while the background is actually the brick ground reflecting the sunlight. So the butt is silouhette but the leaf is being shone upon by the sun.
