Just went to my house downstairs to shoot some pics since it was sunny....well lots of mosquitoes...had 3 bites in all...guess I did not spray my repellent thorough enough!..hope they were dengue free....
Anyway, spotted this cooperative lesser grass blue perched inthe sunset rays. Took a front lit shot, and a backlit shot both w/o flash. The back lit shot is interesting.....as it revealed the bluish tint in the wings. Quite interesting. FZ10+6T+Sigma CU, F8, ISO50, various speeds Appreciate any comments! #1: Front Lit 1/320s ![]() #2: Backlit 1/500s ![]()

I have tried to shoot similar shots but couldn't find a cooperative subject
Very nice but I feel the crop is too tight. |

Better but I still prefer more space in front
Compo is very subjective though. Btw, why is the leaf properly expose but not the Butt? |
