Default LARGE long legged fly

I suppose most of you have seen the small long legged fly before, and its about say, 4-5mm in size? Well, today, I saw a jumbo one! About 1cm....or definitely larger than those I see.

Here are some pics of it. 1st shot is to show some persepctive of the size....fly is not sharp

#2 and #3 are about the same, but different areas are in better focus. Appreciate if you let me know which is better. THANKS!

Taken with FZ10+6T+Sigma CU, Ext bounce flash, ISO50, F8, 1/125s

#1:Look at the size!

#2: Close up

#3: ANother close up

Thanks for your view bariq!

I like #2 for the eye sharpness, but #3 for the leg sharpness and also slightly more sideways....so dunno which is better...

#3 for me. The colours are also more vibrant and contrast higher.

I like 3 cos it has more DOF, capturing more details of the fly's body and wing. Although the face of the fly in 2 is sharper, the capture of the fly's face in 3 is already sufficiently sharp.
