MO: Visible Dust Products - Sensor Brush SD & Arctic Butterfly!!

Hi there,

I’m organizing another possible MO for a new Visible Dust product, for those who have ordered the Sensor Brushes from me and/or those who already have one of your own.

This is a revolutionary product that Visible Dust says is able to charge your brush without the use of canned air or blower bulb. It hasn’t been released on the market yet, but I’m taking orders first as a sort of pre-order sale. There is also an alternative version of the new product which incorporates an all in one solution to charging and cleaning.

Product Details

Here’s a writeup on the two products by Visible Dust:

1. Sensor Brush SD

- Self-Cleaning & Self-Charging Spinning Device (SD)
- Due to problems related to liquid in canned air and flight restrictions we have developed a spinning device for the different Sensor Brush™ sizes which eliminates the requirement for canned air
- Colors may vary at time of shipment
- Brush easily inserted into adapter and removed from adapter for swift cleaning (brush sold separately)
- Requires 2 "AAA" batteries
- WARNING: do not spin while on sensor

2. Arctic Butterfly

- Ideal for Travel and for Light Dusting of sensor
- *does not replace regular brush which has more filaments and is better suited for heavier dusting
- No Canned Air (travel safe)
- Pocket Sized
- Super-Charged Fiber Technology (SFT)
- Enhanced Fiber Cleaning Through Patented Rotary Motion
- Estimated price is $83.95CAD ($72.00USD)
- Metal ferrule is attached to the body of the Arctic Butterfly™ through a non-conductive joint
- Colors may vary at time of shipment
- Includes protective cap
- Requires 2 "AAA" batteries
- WARNING: do not spin while on sensor

Basically, the Sensor Brush SD is an adapter in which you put the brush and it will charge the brush thereafter. The Artic Butterfly is an all-in-one solution comprising of brush and charger to give a one stop solution to charging and cleaning. It is however, more suited to travel purposes and light cleaning. Heavier cleaning requires the Sensor Brush.

I will let this MO run until there is at least 20 people as there is a minimum quantity required to get the discounts. Collection will be at Spinellis opposite Ruby as usual.

Once there is sufficient quantity to proceed, I will need to collect advanced payment. As usual, support issues will be handled by Visible Dust although I will help in the liaising.

I have not gotten a fix on the prices as of yet, but here are the estimated prices (inclusive shipping & GST). Will update with firm prices when I’ve gotten it:

Sensor Brush SD – S$80.00

Arctic Butterfly – S$130.00

A cheaper price may be obtained if we can get larger quantities.

Just for comparison, ordering a single piece from the website using express post service would be approximately as follows (estimates from previous orders as it is not possible to order from the website at the present moment):

Sensor Brush SD - approx S$125.85 (savings of S$45.85)
Arctic Butterfly – approx S$186.64 (savings of S$56.64)

Unlike ordering via the website, I will be using a courier service like FedEx or UPS when ordering – orders arrive faster and guaranteed with tracking.
