Zouk Upgrading Party

Haven't been shooting portraiture much due to intensive workload, so i thought it'd be interested to show what i've been up to for a couple of assignments. This particular shoot was particularly meaningful to me as it was Zouk's last party before it closed for renovations.

I selected a couple i thought were pretty interesting (to me) to begin with. Okay no babes nor fashion shoots in here. , but still i hope you guys enjoy them.

Jeff bro, it has been a long time since I saw these pictures. Now seeing it again still gives me a very fresh and action pack feeling. Felt the energy swaying in the pictures, that raw power, that swinging mood... What can I say, bro?

ah bro, you know, it's always a challenge having to shoot different perspectives in a usual spot almost always, i'm just glad it's my joy and passion to capture what is my interpretation on nightlife.

anyway you were talking abt the thailand trip right?i'll take you up on your offer

may i know the settings used for these shots? aperture, shutter etc?

normally my flash is too strong and all the lighting gone...

hi grigri, sorry for the late reply, was very busy with work and am still busy.

the pictures taken really vary from 8 secs to 1/4 sec, basically i use the flash to freeze the movement... just dial -1 to your fec and you'll be fine.

nope, it's like that, sharpened only once when it's the original tiff then resampled via bicubic sharper
