1.Just use Text tool to write something (your name perhaps). This will become another layer.
2. Next adjust the position, size etc.
3. Then adjust transparency depending on how intrusive u want it (watermark) to be.

1. Add a text layer
2. Change colour of text to Grey 50 (In other words R 128 G 128 B 128)
3. Move it in place
4. Go to blending options
5. Set opacity to your liking
6. Enable Bevel and Embross (Just play around to get what you want)
7. Flatten Image
8. Done

fukeong, sorry but I make use of yor tread to pose some questions about water-marking, OK?

Here are my questions:

1. The defaulted font setting for Photoshop (correct me if I am wrong) is Times New Roman at 12 points, black colour. How do I set the default to the font that I would normally use? (eg. Verdana, 72 points, white colour)

2. Since most of us will be doing this water-marking often, is there any way that Photoshop can record a 'macro' for this water-marking creation process?

TIA.
