Default Help needed to recover from Lexar CF card

Recently took some photos with a 1DmkII on a 2GB Lexar 80X CF card.

Noted that some pics mid way during the shoots was missing but noted that is another folder marked "FOUND.000" in the card. On opening the file, there were 25 files "FILE0000.CHK.....FILE0025.CHK". Are these the pics there were missing? How can I recover these pics?

    Please help.

    Thank you in advance!

Didn't your Lexar card come with its own recovery software? It's called Lexar Image Rescue.

did u left the CF card in the card reader while your computer restart??

the Found.000 was created because of your windows scandisk, worst thing is this stupid scandisk will recover these file and REWRITE it back to your CF card. however the FILE0000.CHK files are pretty useless because you cant do anything to it. very likely the CHK files already over-written your lost picture and make the chance of recovery even lower.

you can try using Lexar image rescue, hopefully u got backup the installation file in the CF card when you just bought it.
