I cancelled. If no connection to the cam, that means must adjust aperture manually.

So few interest? I thought this is better than the macro lens reverse adapter that I mo last time. As you can have different magnification with one lens. Just wondering, is AF really useful in super macro shot, normally I just move the camera closer or further from the subject to get focus, turning the focusing ring doesn't seem to change the focusing distance at all. Any comment welcome

I just bought a reversal ring but find it almost useless. Since the DOF is very high and must mount on tripod, focusing is quite difficult n erroneous, specially translucent material like glass or gems. Just my opinion. So I was interested until I find AF is not available. But compared to reversal ring, this is few times better and I think opaque n stationary subject should not be a problem.

I think this is value for money especially for Nikon users. As for others... I just know that it is very troublesome to Canon EF mount users.

There's no electrical contacts to communicate between the lens and camera, therefore you'll need a lens that has an aperture ring to set your aperture. For Minolta AF users, sorry, this is not compatible unless you use Minolta MD body + lens.

I am quite interested. But can you do some sample of what these ring can capture? I got a 50mm F1.8, hope can make it into a cheap alternative macro lens as well.

If the result is good.. i will get one set ^_^

for canon you can't control the aperture, cos no electric contact, all the way you shoot macro at f/1.8, i think its to narrow the DOF.
