Even though subject is black, you have managed to control the lighting and contrast very well..pics were all well exposed... |

I shall not comment on the exposure as my PC at work has a hopeless monitor.
Composition, I actually like the second picture better. Better reflection on the surface. And a nice rippling light effect on her hand (don't know why but I like to see that, maybe shows that they are underwater?). But cannot see their face, so cannot tell who they are. The first picture have all 3 underwater with faces but the movement created ripple that distorted the reflection. And the 2 guys look uneasy underwater. Lady is good and comfortable looking. Also nice backgroup, better than the tiles from the other underwater portriat thread. Maybe shooting at night also help to hide the background.Did you scuba when you take these photos? |
