Rolleiflex6002/6006

Not only come with metering ,aperture priority but auto load and rewind too!
Lenses are zeiss and doesn't cost a bomb as compare to hassy.
BUT , you must really hunt for a good set and watch out for that battery - battery issue can be solved locally at sim lim tower basement though.

Or else, you can get a Bronica SQ-B or SQ-A, and have a PME 90 viewfinder prism attached. It comes with a built in meter.

there is one more 6x6 cam - the Kiev 88/88CM. it is an optional eye-level meter attachment. believe enivre has one?

Can try out a minolta autocord too. Pretty low price but better results than a seagull.

enivre posted his solutions to this problem in another thread here.

u're not the first to suggest this. think some interested users proposed the same idea. BUT, kievcamera USA's shipping costs made it impractical to ship them back to singapore. by the time u factor in shipping and currency conversion rates, its almost the price of buying a used hasselblad 500/501CM kit. now, bet a used hassy and a new kiev 88CM, guess its a no-brainer which u'll go for...

true.. if u got time and patience to go manual, MF photography still thrills.

if u dun mind, can actually try ebay and see if u can pick up a decent kiev88/88CM kit set? some times, u got get some good deals for used sets. new are almost always not worth shipping over, unless u got frens over in USA.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Look at the Mamiya 6. If you are willing to spend on a 'bladt this isn't so far off.

mamiya 6 and 7/7II are MF rangefinder cameras, IIRC? excellent for street photography and landscapes. but, cos of the lens, its kinda hard to shoot close-ups of people. i've tried b4...
