Unless you absolutely need the 3D MM II and Cam2000 module and also CLS, else I suggest you stick with the F5 and get a 17-35 instead.
![]() Note that the price for the F6 is around 3.5 and that's without the battery grip. ![]() |

anyway, back to topic - i'm quite wary of the separate batt pack/grip for F6. i would prefer an incorporated grip like the F5. somehow, a separate grip gives the cam another avenue for problems, not to mention another place for moisture to seep in (touch wood)...

![]() I prefer bodies with detachable grip. Nikon has made a good choice in doing that for F6 Now if only they can do a digital back for F6...

digital back for F6 has been speculated upon in dpreview forums. some guessed that it will be something like the leica digital module. but, rumours are always rumours... IMO, i won't hold my breath tho.

i got myself an old F5 some moons ago. wrt F6 pricing, think its going for ard this price. u might want to go check out Lords at Lucky Plaza (james there shld be able to help u), else ask florence at MsColor (AMK) or TK Photo (Shaw Towers. look for james - no relation to Lord's james). these are the places i like to go to to get my stuff. and, most of the time, they give pretty good prices too. ![]()

Moisture seepage was never a problem with any of the F series grips and I doubt if it will be in the future.
