Exif info retainable?

To those digital shutterbugs,

How do you guys retain the Exif info for a shot? I mean after you enhance the shot with PS or other Photo enhancment software, if the image is saved, the Exif info will be gone. Anyway, to circumvent this?

PS 6+ has EXIF support. PS 5.5 and below doesn't.

If your editing software doesn't retain the EXIF data, use a program like Exifer to back up the EXIF header before editing and then restore it again afterwards.
