Hi fellow Nikon Kaki
I recently find a needs to add a teleconverter to my Nikon 200mm f4 Micro. It is a manual lens. My subject currently is lotus Do you guys have any to rec? Could I use 3rd party converter as those produced by Kenko or Sigma?..original nikon may be out of reach for me. Thanks |

If you want to get close enough, shouldn't you shorten your working distance with extention tubes instead?

I suppose that an extension tube will shorten the working distance....for eg I had the PK13 which when attached to the 50mm lens, working distance is only a few inches away from the subject.... My purpose of adding teleconverter is to have more flexibility in composing my shots with a comfortable working distance... |
