This is a quick-fix that’s working for many folks who are having install issues with Lightroom CC, and luckily it’s a really easy. Here’s what to do:
STEP ONE: Go to the Creative Cloud App – click on the little Gear icon in the top right corner of window and choose Preferences (as shown above).
STEP TWO: Click the Sign Out button (as shown above).
STEP THREE: Sign right back in and that should fix the problem.
NOTE: Two more things:
(1) You need to sign out/in exactly the way I showed here — from the preferences. Don’t sign out any other way.
(2) You may have to do this sign out/in more than once for it to work.
Hope that helps some folks who are stuck.
P.S. If that doesn’t work, RC found this discussion on an Apple forum where a commenter gave a solution they say came from Adobe Customer Suport (though we haven’t tried or tested it, and so not sure of the validity of the fix). You’ll see most folks there had their install issue fixed by the simpler method I just shared. Here’s the link.
