Nikon Capture trial version cannot run

Just wanna check anyone facing the same thing wit the NC trial version cd provided with the d70s. i cant run the trial version ... i saw the icon on the left but cant insted they ask for product key no....

How long since you installed the trial version and also have you changed the date on your computer at all?

NC expires 30 days after installing it on your computer unless you input a valid product key code.

Hi helfizad,

Any idea where the trial NC is given in the package? Because, I think in my kit set, only picture project and its manual CD was given....

There should be a NC 4 disc included.

Hi espn,

bo leh.. cant find haha..was searching through it to try to download custom curves to try.

Maybe my set miss out.. because the list stating items inside never write NC4 trial as well?

for me i have another problem,i choose custom install which allows what i want to install.
i choose NC4 trial.

After everything is installed,i restart computer.
I then see my try to double click on my .nef file but the file won't open.
when i open task manager,under process,Ncapture.exe(not sure if spell correctly) is running.
I tried uninstall and install back but still won't open,now i use PS7 to open the .nef file.
Whats the different between processing with NC4 and PS7?are there more options to tweak in NC4?

Doesn't sound good. This might help if you've not doine it already.

Uninstall NC via the add/remove programs icon found in control panel.

Uninstall *any* other Nikon software you have installed, eg: Nikon View, Picture Perfect etc.

Run Regedit and remove all references in your registry to Nikon Capture. If you are unsure about using the registry editor get someone who is competent to do this stage for you.

Reboot PC and then perform a regular install of NC4

NC-4 allows you to convert 10.5mm Fisheye shots to ultra wide angle 135° shots. There's also a different workflow to ACR with slightly different ways of doing things. I use ACR, Bibble and NC and each has it's own strengths and weaknesses.

Its wid the Pic project that was given to you in the kits lens... u must do a custom install and check the NC trial version

yup, it's running and taking huge cpu usage.

try the following method:

control panel => regional and language options => make sure under reginal options and advanced tab, the SAME language is selected. then try again.

Dont dare install as only 30 days leh..will install only when needed.

How many computer you can access at home and office? 2 at home, 1 at office = total 3 computers ==> 90 days
