    Default New to DSLR

    Hi just got myself a 350D but know nothing about photography . Anyone have any recommendation of books that i can learn the basic of photography from?

    the library is a good place to start, give yourself an afternoon off and read

    You can go ahead and read and attend courses. But in the end, the best way to learn is to go out and take pictures and experiment.

    learning from a film camera might be the preferred choice of some, but i don't think it's an absolute requirement though.
    Canon 300D, 30D, 5D. 17-40 f4 L, 24-105 f4 L, 70-200 f2.8 L IS

    Read ur manuel to know all about ur camera.

    U cant do anything without knowing what A, S, M mean.

    Last of all shot shoot shoot, but must think after each shot on how to improve it.
