He can.. i talked to him and he told me that it's a simple process to make the thing, but to install it requires you to open up your camera (using a industrial type screwdriver or something, I couldn't quite catch it.) The tool is not widely available, and it invalidates your warranty. I did talk to him about if i were to bring it to japan if he'll do it for me, he mention he'll consider.
Yupz so as it goes, no go.

sanding down is not modification to your lens adaptor
in order for ur filter to sit nice & tight into your adaptor

modification is to saw off abt 1cm of the front of the lens adaptor
adding another lens adpator Raynox RT5264T to it

will try to post pic of it tonite again for ur viewing

cheers,

ermz.. eh.. err...
switch off auto white balance, use manual WB..
Mount on tripod
switch off half press focus => use the focus button to focus once.
use aperture mode, half press, take the meter reading, then go to manual mode and set the aperture AND the shutter.. (actually manual mode can also meter, but let's fix the aperture)

eh.. try take photos of aperture from 2.8 to 8.0...
rem to switch between aperture mode and manual mode to meter. each set (of 2 diff adaptors) only meter once.

Try take a photo of a white wall or a white piece of A4 paper..
then can see if got any vignetting..

when full zoom at 12X, the Leica lens is parallel with the modify lens adaptor
think i'm the only one modified the adpator...........kekekeke

only disavantage after modification, u cannot use the lens hood any more.
tats not a bit issue, I never like using the lens hood anyway..........
