    Sunrise.

Reason: If based purely on what i see in the picture alone, with almost of the lights off, i would think that most people haven't woken up yet or have yet to turn on their house lights. However, if it's sunset, then usually room lights are more prone to be on.

Now, hows that for a wild stab in the dark?

    Whats the ans please?

It's neither sunrise nor sunset, it's a PS composite image! The clouds look very fake...

Ok lah, I would say sunset, becoz the cloud formation doesn't seem like the type you would see in the early morning??

    Wink thanks for your interest

    Thanks for all your interest.

Its a real picture taken out of my bedroom window
It was taken with my coolpix5700 at 1/89.2s f/4.2 on 3rd August at 7.11 am (before the haze became so bad, nowadays cannot see sunrise anymore).

    No PS enhancements.
Original was 2560x1920 but I resized it so that I can put it on my web page.
Angelfire seems to have blocked direct link so if you click the link you can't see. But if you right click on the properties and paste the address to your browser you can see it.

    Cheers everyone.

I don't live in a bungalow but there are many bungalows and semi-d and terraces nearby.

This place is at Bukit Timah near 7th mile. Actually the sunrise scene is quite small. I zoomed in to make it look like the whole sky was covered by the red glow of the sunrise.

    LOL
