Default Advice: Things to look out when inspecting a new camera

Hmmm panasonic FZ users,
please advise on how newbies can 'check out' the camera before buying.

Regards!

hmm can describe the 'bubblelike'?

LCD is the screen that u use to frame your shot or display your photos.. theres an electronic view finder which uses a seperate LCD screen inside..

how can the battery charger be missing? u left it at the shop?

hmm u know like when u come out from one cold room to a room with normal temperature?
like haze like dat.

but it's pretty small like say.. a little bigger than this fullstop ---> .
got two lor. one not very visible the other is when i tilt the cam down so that i wont see the reflection.

no. my guess is tat they always let ppl see the cam. like display set like dat lor.
so mabbe they forget to put back the charger. panasonic charger comes in two parts right.
2 given is the uk plug and the other is the 2 pin plug. den supposed to connect to the batt charger?. ya tat batt charger is missing.

irritated man. i'm a novice lor. so didnt know what to check properly.
they did say anything wrong can bring back within 7 days. i will go down tomorrow and do an exchange.

Yeah dude.. demand a total new set exchange.
Say that you suspect the package you get isn't a new set.
and the lens is faulty.

Hmmm they just passed you the box ah... bleah that shop nt good then... everytime i go buy something they always open up everything let me see and count..

hmmm my advice for newbies who wanna buy next time.

1. make sure all the things are there. open up the manual if necessary. normally the box will say what contains. dun be kan cheong.

2. check the lens. it shd contain no marks, no scratches, coating shd be uniform ---> FLAWLESS

3. check the LCD for dead pixels.

4. try out the cam. hmmm better ask a fren to provide u a spare batt to test.

LAST of all, if u suspect the set is like a display set, ask for a new one!
=D
