Anyone here using Steinzeiser monopod / tripod. Saw East Gear selling at COMEX. Looks very solid, but a bit heavy. Very attactive price considering it comes with ballhead. Anyone used the tripod with pan head (pistol grip) ?
Would like hear some feedback from current users. |

I have a Steinzeiser monopod. A bit flimsy but light and stable enough. I use it with my Sigma 70-200/D70 and it have given me satisfactory results. I got mine for around 30$

Price could have been 35$ but not more. And it doesnt have a ball head. Only the normal tilt/shift. |

EG offered me S$50 without the free bag at COMEX. Guess it's a 4 section monopod.
Looks preety solid and heavy. Thinking of getting one soon.

For that price, I feel that the giottos and the manfrotto monpods are much sturdier and more well built
