Question Dry cabinet at Carrefour

Hey guys,

Am eyeing the 40L dry cab from Carrefour retailing at $99. Think the brand's Digicab or something.

Any users there have any comments/complaints?

Thanx!

Hi Rayman;

if you did a search through past threads, you would realised that there was long indepth thread on the very dry cabinet you were asking about.

Don't be disheartened if yo udon't get immediate answers within the given day.

Anyhow, here are the 2 threads that talks abt the dry cabinet you are asking about.

Thanx Wolfgang! I should at least have done a search on CS before lamenting.

Looks like I'll pop over to Alley before I commit to the DigiCab at Carrefour.

Cheers!

Hey Wolfgang and guys,

rayman's now a proud owner of an Am-Pro 40L dry cab! *beam*

Now running it in. Have to turn it on for 1 day to get the RH right.

No, Jason, you don't get free delivery. No delivery at all for that matter. I can't even get my parking redeemed... Only at Carrefour do you park free after spending $50, it seems. Oh well, it's $1 to park at Suntec only...

Thanx again Wolfgang and all who offered advice!

Sure.

I'm running mine in and one thing i have realised is that the RH guage one the front dial is abit off, or not so accurate so a digital hygrometer would be better.

Using the "M" setting, it was @ 46% yesterday, but now, it's all the way down to 31%. Strange... now twiddling with the knob and positioning it between "L" & "M"

Digital hygrometer?? No lah... Don't think need to go that far. So long as the one on the dry cab doesn't go totally bonkers, I'm pretty satisfied.

31% is still OK isn't it?? That's about the RH for a temperate country like Aussie.

Heh, ask Ian.

The Am-Pro I have has been serviced twice, and it doesn't work that well even then. The Toyo Living ones on the other hand have been working flawlessly.

Hmmmmm.... But what was the reason you sent it in for servicing?
