Hi there..
some of my experiences: Nikon > absolute no no. They go according to your purchase receipt.. They don't even care about the warranty slips that you send in! They don't even have a proper customer base.... Panasonic > This one can... I managed to extend my warranty for a whopping 1 year.. until I sent my warranty in. My set was discountinued, so they gave me a new set of another model... Sony > Not sure. Pioneer > Cannot, as their waranty registration form has a expiry date on it... So the most is that you can extend for a while only. Just my experiences... |

Some shopowners tell you to submit only when there's a problem. They also promise to chop the card for you.
