so where is a nice place to buy 'affordable' suits, ties & other stuff?

btw whats the diff about those cutting?
I suggest that you get your shirt and suits tailored.

If you make a suit, make a dark-coloured one such as black, dark grey or deep blue. Always make another part of pants of the same material as the suit because your pants will 'wear out' faster than your suit. The tailor may not have the exact fabric to match your suit material should you go to him again to make the same pants that has earlier worn out.

For shirts, you can't go wrong with white. If you can, get White Oxford for the fabric. It is strong and thick and still bearable in our tropical weather. Trust me, you don't want to get those thin white shirt that can see your 2 twenty cents coins on your body!

For ties, if you can afford it, I recommend Giorgio Armani ones. Expensive but very very sharp looking.

    Paiseh... forgot to add...

If you want to look good from head to toe... some other considerations that you need to take note:

    (1) Get a nice watch. If you wear a suit, please don't wear those resin watches. Wear a dress watch that has a leather strap or metal strap.

    (2) Shoes. Get a nice pair of shoes. If you can afford about $200, get a Johnston and Murphy black wing-tip. Very professional looking.

    (3) If you wear dark trousers and your wing-tips, always always wear black socks. White socks are a no no!

To avoid that from happening, wear the suit but not the pants unless it is absolutely necessary.

Some girls may like the look.
