Default Wireless on 5600HS

Dear All

Would appreciate if someone can help me with this. Can the wireless mode on the 5600HS be used with on manual mode (instead of TTL)? Set-up would be two 5600HS on Manual Mode, with the built-in flash on 5D/7D as master? Thanks.

regards
Nick

can... just set your D7D as Flash : WL mode.

then set your 5600HS as WL also, press mode, den WL : on (i think... no camera or flash with me now) then set the flash to manual, 1/32 1/16, 1/8, etc...

if i am not wrong, can set 2:1 with the 2 flash also... anyway, i dun have 2 flash to try...

remember to face the IR receiver facing the camera body. or visible to the camera body's flash

I am quite sure about this... the 7 confirm have ratio flash... the 7D has not such option in the flash menus...

Hiee..

Yes, you can do manual mode flash power control with the 5600HS(D)...that is what i normally do . To avoid variations in lighting if i handhold my camera for a shoot - not on tripod. So metering will not change and resulting in change in scene......which then result in different final light. SO usually i set to manual flash and control FEC to brighten or darken the flash fill..
