Default CF card write speed on 7D/5D

refer to here. http://www.dyxum.com/reviews/cfcard/index.asp
currently there's only input for 7D.

now, regarding the CF write speed for 7D, who is using Sandisk Extreme III?
I'm currently using Lexar 80x, thinking of changing to Sandisk Extreme III.

Hiee Guys....

Just to check....you piak piak piak...is in AF mode or MF mode. The camera is still "awake" and thinking as you piak piak piak......where AF might change etc....

So for best test on bandwidth, use Manual focus in manual mode (M)...

when switched to 'S' mode on the front knob, once AF locked, shutter button depressed and not let go, the AF should not go loose. That's from what I've been using. the subject moves about, AF will stay, some frames will get OOF, some will be accurate.

Try this site. Much better than Dysum but no 7/5D though. Seems like performance is very dependent on eqpt. In most cases, the performance diff between Lexar80x and ExtremeIII is so negligible.

how can it be better than dyxum.com when there's no practical results from Dynax 7D & 5D? and you've already mentioned it is dependent on equipment. thanks anyway.

What I meant was we also have to take the Dyxum results with a pinch of salt. Most of the readings are fr 1 user inputs. How reliable are up the the reader to believe. ExtremeIII is great but at a price premium. So, if u dont do frequent burst, will just have to gauge if the extra $ really justified.
