I have one! Its my grandad's though. Focusing wise its not that fast but still usable, comes with the basic manual/other modes that I need. You can expose up to nine shots on a single frame of film. Pretty good beginner camera IMHO just that its a bit old and there tends to be this grease problem that leads to the shutter getting stuck at times.

Very good!... for it's price.
I use it to take ultra-wide angle landscapes. |

The EOS 500 was my first SLR. Used it (and liked it) until I upgraded. Competent camera. Go use it.

eos88 came out later but basically the same function as eos500n. eos500 longer history but if you are given one most likely need to change the shutter at canon service centre. as to whether it is good or not.... depends on what 'good' is to you as every SLR will have it's pro and cons. |
