Leica C2 versus Leica Mini Zoom
My 10-year old Leica mini zoom compact camera recently dropped and is in need of repair. Estimated cost: <S$180. My particular camera model is no longer made... the current equivalent is the Leica C2 35mm compact camera. I was given the option of spending roughly S$90 or $100 more and exchanging my broken camera for a new Leica C2 camera, the current 'equivalent' of my model. My Leica 35mm mini zoom consistently gave me great photos and performance... can I expect the same from the C2? Any C2 owners' comments would be most welcome. Any changes for better or worse in this new model?
I am also interested to know about the focusing options on the C2. Can I focus on a particular subject in the frame? I believe I can but confirmation is appreciated.
