Thread: Do one need a UV for the Tamron 90mm Macro?

    Default Do one need a UV for the Tamron 90mm Macro?

    I was aware the lens glass is deep inside the berrel, so is there
    any chance that the lens might get damaged? Is a UV filter
    necessary?

    Why not? so deep in, hard to clean isn't it?

    I will prefer to clean the filter than the glass on the lens itself.

    Oh, yeah. That's a point. Lens can still collect dusts though not scratched.
    So I will get a filter for it.
