Default Of Cameras and Pots

Hi,

Very often, we hear comments like "Wow! This is a great picture. You must have a very good camera!", or "Wow! Great picture, what camera did you use?" Here's a interesting little snippet from Popular Photography:

Quote:
An amateur photographer was invited to dinner with friends and took along a few pictures to show the hostes. She looked at the photos and said, "These are very good! You must have a good camera." He didn't make any comment, but, as he was leaving to go home, he said "That was a really delicious meal! You must have some very good pots."

- Popular Photography, p.16, January 2001
Remember, it's the photographer, not the camera.

Regards
CK

Think the best way for us to learn from pic submitted is to put in as much info as possible.. like shutter speed, aoexture.. so we learn more...

If the one submitting only want people to comment of composition.. Then setting may not be so critical.

In fact, sometimes, a simple P&S can do the job better (e.g. street photography).
