I had alot of fun today for the UW portrait shoot. All 3 models were really sporting. Kudos to beivied for organising this.
Here's my first posting for today's shoot. It is Yun. Will try to put as many decent ones as possible over the next few days. ![]() |

actually, though my shots were *bleah*, i am really glad that my dream of trying such photography has been achieved, thanks to the organizers and just as importantly, the models. after trying it out, i really learnt that it isn't as simple as holding the breath and pose... one great educational experience, anyone game to try it in the open sea?

abdul, i was just wondering if there are going to be any sunbursts shots.....the kung fu pose is fantastic! right up there together with Elise's ballet pose.
is there anything u can do in not showing the pool tiles? faster shutter speed and smaller aperture? sort of spoils the mood. if u can get the dark background with strobes lighting up the models, i think that would be nice. Another idea maybe for the next shot is to put a slave strobe behind the models to create back lighting. I think overall, those of us who couldn't make it now realises how much we miss out. Eric |

Hi Eric
It difficult to control the lighting as the sun play hide and seek. Aperture wise constant F8@125 secs. Will try different exposure next time. Tiles is sometimes good for abstract. background, no choice. |
