Hi every1, got a ques 2 ask, hope some1 can help, thanks
My canon 420ex ettl indicator led is lighted permanently in red when i on e 420ex power switch, even when i didnt connect it 2 my canon eos 30, is tis normal? Cos i dicover manual states dat ettl indicator led will only light up when i half press e shutter button. How 2 check whether my 420ex is firing in ettl or ttl? Is my 420ex faulty? is it set to slave mode? if it is, the red light will blink intermittently regardless of whether it is connected to a camera body...

Maybe i did not explain myself clearly.... Wat im refering 2 is e ettl indicator led light jus above e row of autozoom position indicators When i on my 420ex power switch, without attachment to my eos 30, ettl indicator on my 420ex lights up permanently But manual states ettl indicator only lights up when shutter button is half press(mount on eos class A bodies, like eos 30, 50, etc) Is my 420ex normal or faulty?
