I just realised my reason, after mucking up the fireworks shoot, for a digicam is that I can have lots of shots without reloading and can shoot with impunity... else I love film SLR for wide angle, can go out w/o worrying about batteries.

Default I would keep the $$...

Go on diving trips or tour the world.

I won't donate it to charities, if they really need my help, i would rather do volunteer work. The "need of $$" has no end, no point dumping 10k in charity.

"They" will probably chase after you for cpf charged for ur 10k income anyway if they find out...lol

I won't buy lens either.....probably will collect dust. Taking photos so often risks burnouts...had that so many times. Sigh

Disclaimer: I dun condone donating to charities...its juz my point of view....however i do support volunteer work. They want $$? Ask from "Them".....i see the $$ is better spent by "them" on charities rather than digging up roads here and there middle of the night, sprucing up places which hardly benefits the nation, then squeeze us dry by other means....sheesh...

No finger pointing there.....them or they can be anybody. It's up to the human imagination....believe what you wanna believe......follow and conform if you must. Reform brings condemnation, but keep it quiet...no point making a big hoo haa...people will shun you.

boy am i sprouting nonsense at 3.38am....LOL

I'll take either option, sell it, then use the money to go travel with my existing equipment and take great photos.

    what would you buy?
Can I not buy anything like photographic equipment
since this is not my priorty at the moment?

At this very crucial moment where thousands are
taking up digital imaging and photography, we
are proud that we have the finest Performancing
Art Centre in this region, shouldn't we be doing
something to help others to succeed?

    For me, aha.....
the ability to group good, excellent sharing
photographers to help the thousands out there
to succeed in their photography pursue.

Success in photography indeed need not be one
who owns the finest photographic equipment.
It largely will depend as in all art form, the mind,
body and the spiritual well being of the aspiring
    individual.

many who have been viewing photography unfavorably.

You won't say that if you're taking fantastic fireworks without bulb, and a camera that insists on making a 10s exposure last 20s because of dark frame substitution - can't even turn it off!!

    When you learn about appreciation,
you will be a giver and soon you will learn
in no time how to turn it off.

Have you found the tips useful, say something to
learn and gain something. It is engaging in intellectual
order and the centre of the student's reality.
