Question for those with EF 100-400mm
Does the front feels top-heavy and lose when push/zoom to at 400mm, doing this push pull thing will easily ware out the lens, losen the zooming. Was thinking of getting this lens either new or 2nd hand. Thanks. |

If you're worried about how loose the barrel feels for the push-pull action, and whether it will slip when pointing down, there is a ring to adjust how tight or loose the push-pull is.

Mine going strong after 2 years, no wear and tear even after constant use. The tension ring works well but mine almost always at the lowest tension, unless when stored.
