Default Womad bringing in cameras allowed ?

I saw on the Sistec site that photography is not allowed for womad.

Are we allowed to bring in cameras though ? I'll be going elsewhere to shoot an event first then going to womad, so not enough time to go back home and leave my stuff.

This is what was posted on the web page :
* No Photography, Video recording and Audio recording is allowed for this event !

It simply means no photo, video and sound recording is allowed, which covers every and any equipment that has the capability to do so. But it does not restrict you from bringing those equipment in.

Nope. I was stop from bringing in and has to placed it in the locker. When clause such as this, they mean Don't bring your "wares" into the hall.

I was at Womad on Sunday with my D70. With my AFD 70-300 and right infront of the main stage, I was literally right up the nose of the security crew, waving with his small torch "No flash please, No flash please!"
