SMILE SMILE!!

Don't understand why you used an angry face? You can send your lenses, cameras to Cam.X at the groundfloor of the peninsula hotel shopping center, opposite the coffeeshop. It is a small shop, and the repairman is very good with older mechanical cameras/lenses. the owner of the shop is Nick Foo, he just accepts the repair jobs for the repairman. Turnover is slow though, so be prepared to wait long, BUT he does a terrific job! Specially in cleaning lenses! (up to a limit off course)

Alternatively, you can also go to the Camera Workshop in the same building...

Why angry....Be happy

There is one besides Cathay called Prime and if you go over to Adelphi, across the road, there is another one also can repair. All gives professional services. Please get a quote before repair/service.

After the repair/service, happy shooting

Come here more often and get happier and happier! .........but not too often or else you become too happy!

Never ever go to K-13 again! Unless you are too happy and need some sadness........

When dealing with k13 , you gotta be very alert. They seems to know something , and always thought everyone else is a carrot...
However , you may get some bargain sometime because they think they know , they may be wrong at time......

You should consult Prime.
After all the business that Parlin and myself have given Andrew , I think he's become quite experienced of-late with all these old classics!

And the advantage of dealing with them is you get to talk to the repair-guy directly...

I have a dead Kiev 88 CM as well. The curtains seized up never to close again, at any speeds.
Since the my CZJ 120 and 180 lenses been lying around disused- the 180 is one of the best lenses I've ever used.

What do you guys reckon the repair bill for the body would be?

perhaps u'll get a better answer when u bring it to P&G or ron's cameras, both @ adelphi, for a quotation.

If the estimated bills comes up to about >$200, I think it would be cheaper to buy a new body from Ebay .... or you may consider selling the CZJ away

Cam X - Nick Foo offers the best value for repair. Fair and reasonable charges all the time and great work.
