Default F100 v F90X

hi ,

I am considering getting a F100 nikon camera. Currently am using a F90X camera. Thought of upgrading ,but don't know well abt the difference between these two cameras.
Anyone using F100 can advise?

Jed did a comparison of the 2 cameras.

http://home1.pacific.net.sg/~wee/f90xf100.htm

I suggest you go through the points and assess your needs to see if you really need the upgrade.

I'm not sure how much the MB-15 costs in Singapore.

A second hand F90X usually goes for 600+.

Oh ....... wow .... the MB-15 is not cheap at all. I ask Cathay for the quote of current price of MB-10 , they quote me as $232 , which seems quite high.

F90X cost ard the range of $600 - $880, does this price includes the MB-10 along , or just the body only .

Thanks

I haven't seen a used F90X go more than $700 actually, regardless of condition. I suggest you go to the Peninsula area and check out the prices of used F90Xs. Last time I checked, TCW has tons of them in the window. I believe the prices do not include the MB-10. BTW, my friend got a used MB-10 for $150.

Remember, buy what you need only, OK? And don't jump just because everyone else is jumping.

The F100+MB-15 is a very durable set. I love mine! xxxx

To add, the F100 uses the Nikon Multi-Cam 1300 AF sensor. Same sensor used on the awesome F5. AF speed is abit faster on the other bodies ie F80, F65.
