Not sure if Fuji S3 pro is able to take IR. Perhaps you can check it out by following the instructions listed here. What thread size does S3 pro use? You might wanna join in one of the outings to borrow IR filter to try it out ![]() |

Hi w_chiang ,
ark19 and quekky have the best suggestion "join them in the next outing" ! Apart from these guys (all the IR guys that meet) being so helpfull and easy going; I am shure they would like to experience what the S3pro will do in IR. My guess would be that it will do IR quite well. The only factor will be the exposure time. Personally, I will look forward to what images you capture from your camera. Say "hi" to the guys for me and enjoy your time. Cheers ![]()

S2Pro can do IR, but has a high tendency to have hotspots with R72. Believe S3 might have the same issues.
Examples : http://eawtan.spymac.com/2005_Jan_16_IR2/ http://eawtan.spymac.com/2005_Jan_08_IR/ http://eawtan.spymac.com/2005_Jan_03_IR/ Strangely enough, 2X ELP seems to work great with the S2. http://clubsnap.org/forums/showthread.php?t=131121 |
