Default Tips please (II)

Disgusted, frustrated and sick of the Canon EF-S 18-55mm kit lens, I went out on another day to try the Canon EF 28-105mm II USM.

It was an overcast day, and hence the images aren't very contrasty. I can't see any hotspot but maybe the weather subdued the ambient IR.

IR-lovers and die-hards, please speak your wisdom.
