Default How to do macro shots?

i saw many of the pics,the water droplets everything so clear,insect eyes also can see.

im using a nikkor 60mm lens at f2.8,am i able to get the same effect?any pics taken with nikkor 60mm?bros pls help thx

Welcome to Macros and Closeups. For water droplets and insect eyes photography, they are beyond 1:1 magnification. You need to use ext. tube for your macro lens. Try to use tripod and release cable, set your camera to A mode with aperture to the smallest e.g. f22. You may also need to use macro positioning plate to assist you to position your camera setup to the object ( like water droplets ).

So I'm able to capture with the lens im currently using? What's an ext tube? got a pic or a name for it?

A picture of a 25mm extension tube, there is no glass in between. It like an extender which is put in between your lens and the camera body. It allows you to focus closer to the subject and there is a slight magnification of the subject too.

The best person to asnwer your question here is to call up the retailers like CP, AP, MS Color.... etc

You need to get extension tube for nikon mount ...
