MS informed me that it is. I'm going for a test fire next week, will report on the results.

will make quite a good travel lens minus some quality...

according to review above, positive points of the Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC are:
    - Performance at wide end
    - Focal Range
    - Size and weight
    - Easy Manual Focus

    Negative points are:
    - Optical quality falls off towards telephoto end
    - Autofocus a little noisy and slow.

    Hmmmm...

this lens won an award lei...

EISA European Lens of the Year 2005-2006 Award

    anyway... 18-200mm become 36-400mm...
still good... for outdoor photography... indoor then switch lens lor

saw from the oly forum that with the handgrip can increase focusing speed...

Well, for me, using the dual kit lenses on my E-300, the focusing performance is indeed noticeably faster when used with the grip and 2 batteries. Not that it was slow... it was fast but one can notice the improvement.

yeah, I want the handstrip. Assuming you're talking about the strap that allows you to hold the camera with one hand safely.

    get from perly lah.

his martin handstrap can allow me to "hang" my e-300 w/ handgrip, two batt, 11-22 without the need to grip it tightly. i usually "hang" camera loose from my right hand for a awhole day shoot.
