You point is baseless. What makes the images of the Esplanade so special?? Its because THEY ARE IMAGES OF THE ESPLANADE!!!

it's still very much a free place in many aspects. just not TOTALLY free like u demand it to be.

Photography in a public place ia a very basic activity. Its not even a priviledge.

That would have something to do with your competence as a photographer.

esplanade is a building opened to public, but it is not a public place.

Yup, you missed the point. Completely, not even close. I believe we were talking about architectural planning and land use. In any case, paying to fo into a venue or not depends highly on how much funding the management gets.

besides not having an exclusive collection of esplanade pictures, i don't see u losing anything else. if that's what u're so sore abt, u shld've said it instead of this:

Its might not be as relevant but its a small gesture as its give the message that art is being encouraged and is not being restricted to any one kind of art.

ah but it will not display to himself his sheer logical brilliance in arguing a pt or less to death...

yes and pls go back to why u even started this discussion. it's basic common sense that u get what u pay for. in any case, comparing the louvre, which is a museum, to the esplanade in terms of 'architectural planning and land use' is already unfair.

Read a bit on this. Different building typologies doesn't mean different planning strategies altogether.
