Painted Jezebel

Had better luck with butts than birds this time. Managed to get a pic of this Painted Jezebel while it was busy feeding. This butterfly is quite commonly seen on P.Ubin, but hard to shoot since it rarely stays still.

You were shooting this with your birdie lens?

Yeah, was using my "birdie" lens. Actually, it has a good range and can be used for quite a number of subjects too.

This shot was taken handheld too with VR turned on, almost at the minimum distance already, which gives quite a good background blur considering that the background was just about several inches behind. Wouldnt use it for smaller butts than this though, it's only good for the larger butts.
