Default 13Aug Macro shoot:Jumping Spiders (Salticidae)

Apart from the ladybird that I shot, I also saw this jumping spider. I think its a Banded Phintella (Phintella vittata)

I think its quite common....and those who have seen it will notice that this fella is very shy...always try to hide from the camera.....

Classification: Family Salticidae, Jumping Spiders
Habitat: Grasses and low shrubs in gardens and rural areas.
Female: 4-5 mm.
Male: 3-5 mm.
Distribution: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, India, Southern China.

Taken with FZ10+6T+Sigma CU, Ext flash, F8. ISO was set 100 (forgotten to set back to ISO 50, so some were taken at 100 and some at 50) Various shutter speeds.

#1 The pounce.....(it seems to like this posture...had a few pics of it doing this...)
ExposureTime : 1/320Sec
ISO 100

#2 Another lower view of the Pounce!
ExposureTime : 1/400Sec
ISO 100

#3: Standing Tall!
ExposureTime : 1/250Sec
ISO 50

#4: The stare
ExposureTime : 1/400Sec
ISO 100

#5: The peek
ExposureTime : 1/250Sec
ISO 50
