Default 120 Film Process & Scan Recommendations?

Any good places to bring the 120 film for processing and scanning? I understand that scanning in high res will cost quite a lot for those who want large prints. What would it cost to scan the 120 in lower res, at a price that is more affordable? Pls share your experience. Thanks!

I have called up miao laan cc and know that they charges $1.50 per scan. However, it seems that they are only able to do low res scans for 6x6 (printable up to 6R) and high res scans for 6x7 (printable up to S10R).

Think I will charge $1 per scan at 2400dpi. Price the same for negatives and slides. Able to collect and return your film at cityhall, tiong bahru or paya lebar.

Min 10 scans please to make my trip worthwhile

You can contact Kex, he does scanning using Imacon Flextight, high-end virtual drum scanner. His lab's in Bedok and pretty resonable price IMO.

Any idea what would be the estimated file file size at 2400 dpi?

it depends on which format u wish ur scans to be in too. jpg, bmp, tiff etc... kelvyn from miao laan told me, if i want, he can give me a 40MB tiff file... i told him jpg will do.

i believe kex can give u some quotations. why not try PMing him?
