Updated Avatar Guidelines

New guidelines for Avatars
Dimensions : 80 x 80 pixels
Maximum Size : 10KB

We have not cleared the avatar database as it may cause problems for members who may not have saved their current avatars, but we are requesting that members re-upload a new avatar as soon as possible. The new guidelines for avatars are aimed at reducing bandwidth used (old avatars were up to 15KB in size, thus the new sizes will save us approximately 33% in bandwidth used for avatars).

Avatar Placement
Can be on LEFT or TOP of posts depending on your choice in the User Control Panel (under Options).
Default position is on TOP of posts.

Please change your avatars to conform to this new guideline as soon as possible. We will give a grace period of two weeks (we will be sending PMs as reminders as and when moderators come across avatars that have not been resized) from today after which we will delete member's avatars which have not been resized without notification or reminder.
