The least they should do is to explain why they made those decisions. They cannot think they are running their own biz thus can do what they want with the money. Sorry, if it is my own money, I can change till I am satisfied and who care.
why no minster questions this? like what one says… poor management and no transparency...
Eat breath LIVERPOOL!!!
There is already a minister in charge. The one who thinks its appalling and shocking
The root cause seems to be the performance of grass root leaders...
Quote: "Is it logical that the Sports Hub's own pitch chief was consulting overseas while the Sports Hub was forced to hire foreign consultants to find solutions to its own pitch problem?"
These are the foreign untalented that the garment welcomed with open arms and deep pocket, namely - SHPL CEO Philippe Collin Delavaud and SHPL's senior director of stadia Greg Gillin.
Our society love people to talk loud and give empty promises. Unfortunately, our system teaches our people to restrain and look at team not individual. So till we manage to balance this, we will continue to pay the price. It is not limited to sport only.
Thats why people say rhe grass is greener out side.
There has been a very recent ho ha over artificial tuff use for the women's World Cup ( vs natural for men)
One of the reasons cited being increased chances of injury.
And this, I heard on BBC radio, being a totally non football person.
So its really not acceptable to me that the people running the stadium in which this is their bread and butter can over look this bit of news.
Inevitably, questions will be asked. What's the sports hub for? Sports or generating revenue? Same goes for the Esplanade. Arts of generating revenue? Is there any point in building billion dollar projects and then price them out of most people's reach while trying to stay "sustainable"?
This mentality of throwing money at monsters is seriously flawed.
