Default Olive-backed sunbird

1st time posting of birdies...
It was taken in AH, on 9Aug2005 afternoon

(may I suggest that you use fill-in flash so that the shadows on the bird can be lighted.)

I like the bird's composture, but felt that the background is a bit too distracting. Perhaps more blurred background would helped....

hmm
actually fill-in flash was used. but I think maybe not efficient enuff as the settings supposed to shoot butterflies, not long range. just chanced upon this bird that was closed enough, but still small in the frame actually. what's shown has been highly cropped.

and yea, for the background, i agree it's busy. the leaves were actually quite close to the bird itself, unless I waited for it to go up higher, then might be able to take with sky as bg. but then again, I wasnt there to shoot birds
