Smile National Day 2005 from my perspective

Got on the most happening bridge in Singapore to celebration the nation birthday and took a couple of snapshots. Comments are welcomed.

juz some nitpics actually.
1) ive always noticed dat its hard to get the flag the rite way round, but from a viewers point of view. if u can flip the pic so dat the flag is the right way round, it mite bring a new level of patriotism to some folks, as opposed to seeing it the wrong way round.

2) dis look like a battlezone due to the trailing smoke. the feeling of national day is lost. maybe im juz being an ass bout it
hehe

3) ditto

the rest are fine. juz my thots.

If I have not seen probably, I will have though #2's helicopters are hit and most likely crash into the CBD. I shudder at that thought.

I like the last pic. All colour blends well & framing, just crop away the left side (too empty) to make it a square format. I might look better.
I don't think anyone shot something like yours on the bridge dude. All the best dude.

Thanks guys. Too bad only those few photos of mine can make it, the rest were over exposed due to the smoke and continuous blasting of the fireworks towards the end like the one on 9th August midnight. Actually for yesterday i was hesitating to shoot portrait or landscape, so i only changed position when the fireworks were very high in case my fireworks get "chopped off". I still like the one on Saturday, still my better collection. Looking forward to the fireworks on the 14th August 2005.

Keep those comments coming. Thank you so much.

Yeah, the flag thingy was a problem, should i just find a way to reverse the flag? BUt overall, thanks for the comments. Guess those on the Esplanade side will have the right side of the Singapore flag on the heli.

hahahaha...maybe the coloured version is better. You are right, the b/w photo looks like they got "hit".
