Thought i thought my shot would be blurred at first, cos didn't have a remote for my cam. So I had to use a black card to cover the lens, press the shutter then remove the card so as to minimse camera movement.

What was your average exposure time (your manual black card one)? And what F stop did you use?

shutter speed was set @ 5 sec throughout. but probably regulated the exposure time between 3-4 secs (1 sec used for releasing shutter and moving black card away.
